Cyprus - Easter 2011

My girlfriend and I went to visit her Parent's in Cyprus over Easter earlier this year. A great holiday and some nice photos came from it as well.

There were swallows everywhere. They are incredibly fast and incredibly hard to get a decent shot of. This is the best one I managed to snap.



A trip to the ancient ruins of Kourion, near Limassol, gave the opportunity to get a few shots of a Kestrel hunting over head.









And finally, a huge praying mantis that took up residence on the steps down to the garden. Even a storm couldn't shift this one!
